Services for Homeowners
TSP is sensitive to the particular needs of property owners considering hiring a contractor to perform asbestos abatement. A typical engagement begins on the phone with one of our licensed asbestos inspectors to determine the rough scope of the project, to answer any initial questions our customers might have, and to schedule an appointment to visit the affected property.
Following a site visit, TSP's asbestos inspector will develop a customized scope of work and price proposal. Most proposals are returned to our customers within one business day and work can be scheduled at the customer's convenience once all of the regulatory requirements have been met.
Services for Commercial Business and Industry
TSP provides a full set of asbestos abatement services to commercial businesses and industry. A typical job for TSP involves preparing a structure for eventual demolition or renovation by a general contractor.
In these situations, TSP staff normally receives a plan document written by the general contractor’s asbestos inspector, permitting TSP to quickly mobilize its licensed asbestos abatement team to begin work as soon as regulatory requirements have been satisfied.
For clients lacking their own asbestos inspector, TSP also offers the services of our certified asbestos inspectors to evaluate the impact of asbestos located on a job site. Our certified asbestos inspectors have performed hundreds of inspections for clients throughout Michigan. By working with TSP’s asbestos abatement team, our inspectors are able to tap decades of experience to identify areas of likely asbestos impact and to suggest cost-effective remedies to abate the asbestos hazard in accordance with the Owner’s best interest.
Finally, TSP also offers emergency response services in the event of an inadvertent asbestos release. TSP’s asbestos inspectors and abatement team have been involved in numerous emergency response situations.
